Sofia Solazzi is a fashion and music photographer. She began her journey working with emerging artists, curating their image and following them during their performances. Sofia started her photography studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata. In 2022, she moved to London to further her education and gain practical experience in the field of Fashion Photography. Moving back to Italy at the end of 2023, Sofia came to Rome, where she pursued a Master's degree in Fashion Photography at the ISFCI Academy (Institute of Photography). In 2023 she started to work as art director and photographer for artists under Universal Music Italy. During these years, Sofia has also pursued her interest for reportage, and in 2023, she published her work with “Italia che cambia”, an independent Italian online newspaper. She has worked as a backstage photographer at Fashion Week in both London and Milan.
Sofia has nurtured a passion for travel and the discovery of the unknown since childhood. Through photography, she expresses the qualities that have always been a part of her: curiosity, keen observation, attention to detail, a love for beauty, and a deep nostalgia for moments of the past. Sofia is continually refining her visual identity, blending the sophistication of fashion with the raw authenticity of reportage.
